Editor

PhotoScape's Editor tool is perhaps the most commonly used by most computer users. It allows you to solve many problems with a specific image that needs to be changed. It is in this tab that any photo will open if PhotoScape is assigned as the default photo editor.

The functionality of this tab of the free photo editor is truly impressive. It is hardly worth describing in detail how certain of its functions work, since there are a lot of them. We recommend that you simply test all the tools on your own photographs.

For ease of use, the tools are grouped. They are presented as 4 tabs on the left under the photo: Home, Object, Crop and Tools. There are five buttons in the lower right part of the Editor window:

Cancel - cancels previous operations made in the editor. Several presses in turn will undo several operations in reverse order.

Refund - cancels the cancellation.

Undo all - returns the photo to its original state before editing.

Batch editor

The next big tab of the free photo editor “Photoscape” is called Batch editor. It can process many different images at once. On the right side of the window there are again three tabs:

1. Home- allows you to add frames to all selected images and adjust them to size.
2. Filter- again allows you to apply various effects in batches: lightening, darkening, decolor, cinema, vignetting, changing brightness, etc.
3. An object- here you can overlay any images or text on all selected photos at once. This is especially useful when creating so-called “watermarks” and creating other versions of author’s signatures.

Page

The Page tab of the simplest, but truly the best photo editor for the computer, PhotoScape, allows you to create simple collages from several photos. First, it is best to select the size of the future merged photo in pixels (by default it is a 404*404px square) and its background, and then select a layout for the photos on the general canvas. We add any photo with the corresponding button, and then choose how many columns and rows to divide it into. After that, press the “Divide” button.

Making PhotoScape the default photo editor in Windows 10

5. Even lower and select “Find another application on this computer.”
6. Explorer opens. In it we find the PhotoScape program file. It is located in the folder of the same name inside the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder on system drive C. Select it with the mouse.
